Friendsville is the oldest settlement in Garrett County. It is known for the Youghiogheny River and the Friend Family Museum. Our community park is family oriented and hosts the annual events including Friendsville Days, Fiddler's Contest, and The Yough River Festival. There are unique shops, locally owned motels, bed and breakfasts, and a diversity of restaurants to accommodate many tastes.
