A very popular summer program for children ages 1- 5 years.
Parent (s) or Guardian must accompany child.
The little ones have some time for unstructured interactive play at several different 'play' stations we set up and in the playground. Then we take a 'wee' hike to explore the nearby trails, make a trip to the river for some treasure hunting, create a simple arts project, try some kiddie yoga and sing some fun songs.
This is a partner program with Yoga in Nature Program for adults. One parent can attend Toddler Tuuesday with the wee ones while the other attends Yoga in Nature

Have an Adventure to the Friendsville Riverside Town Park, Friendsville, Maryland, This gorgeous quiet park sits in a beautiful valley surrounded by the Youghiogheny River. The park has a really nice playground and direct access to nature trails and a river beach area. Program takes place in large Picnic Shelter the large new playground and the riverside access area and nature trails. Rain days take place at the Historic Fox Store. After the program you can visit the local affordable family restaurant the "Jubliee Junction " for family fair and 50 + flavors of ice cream or check out the Water Street Cafe for pepperoni rolls, burritos, pizza (even gluten free) , smoothies. You can also stay and play in the park for as long as you want!
