The City of Frostburg is hosting ENERGY MATTER$ 2: $avings throughConservation & Efficiency on Saturday, March 28th, from 9 AM - Noon at Frostburg City Place, 14 S. Water Street, Frostburg.
The event will feature presentations by industry professionals focusing on residential and commercial energy efficiency analysis and recommended improvements/upgrades. The presentations will also include information about incentives and rebate programs available in Maryland for Potomac Edison customers.
The residential program will begin the morning event and include an area homeowner’s experience and results with implementing energy-saving measures in his own home as well as the demonstration of a thermal imaging camera and blower door used during home energy audits. As the presenter likes to say: “We bring Today’s efficiencies to Yesteryear’s Homes and pay for it with Tomorrow’s savings”.
The second half of the morning will highlight the Potomac Edison Commercial/Industrial Energy Efficiency Incentive Program which includes 8 programs that pay businesses and municipalities for engaging in energy-efficiency projects in the areas of lighting, municipal lighting, food service equipment/appliances, HVAC, CHP, custom projects, and tuition reimbursement.
