LUNCH N LEARN: Fundamentals of Financial Planning for All Ages

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce invites you to enjoy a light lunch while you listen to a presentation on financial planning by industry professional, Bradford Ely (Center for Financial Education, LLC), at our November 2024 Lunch N Learn!

Brad will cover a variety of topics including tax planning, estate planning, investing during the accumulation and decumulation phases, risk management/offset, and identity theft. Brad graduated from Babson College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Economics and American History. From 1982-1991 he was an Account Executive with Xerox and Pitney Bowes. From 1991-1994, he was an Account Executive with Kiplinger Publishers in Washington, DC. It was during his time at Kiplinger that he developed an interest in Personal Finance. In 1994, Brad joined Lincoln Financial Advisors in Baltimore. in 2006, he became a partner of the Bradford Financial Group, a firm that he still manages.

In 2018, Brad started the Center for Financial Education (an LLC in the State of Maryland). The Center for Financial Education is an Education and Information Company. Their mission is to educate individuals and families with goal of helping people make better financial decisions, with understanding and confidence.
