Garrett Institute for Lifelong Learning (GILL) sessions are FREE to all GILL members, but members are encouraged to register. Classes are available to GILL members. To become a member of GILL, contact Continuing Education and Workforce Development at Garrett College at 301-387-3069. In just four hands-on sessions, participants will take all the steps to create a simple table runner or table topper. Participants will go through all the steps from choosing and cutting fabrics to block assembly, ?in-the-ditch? quilting, and binding. Participants are encouraged to bring a sewing machine with which they are familiar with and will also be given a list of needed fabrics prior to the start of the session.
