The Continuing Education and Workforce Development division of Garrett College will be offering community chorus at the main campus in McHenry. The ensemble, directed by Dr. Sean Beachy, adjunct instructor of music, will begin meeting on February 2, from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Garrett College auditorium. The course culminates with a final concert toward the end of the semester. Enjoy singing and want to be a part of a new and exciting opportunity in Garrett County? Participants will learn a variety of music, including sacred, secular, and popular repertoire. No previous choral experience is necessary. Although the college has had a choir in the past, Beachy will reintroduce this opportunity for students and community members. This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves to sing and wants to be involved in a group choral setting.
