The 7th Annual Barn Dance and Silent Auction will be held on Saturday, September 19 at Ridgeview Valley Barn on Gravelly Run Road in McHenry from 5:00-9:00 PM. This fun, fall evening offers dinner by Catering by the Champions, dancing to the sounds of DJ Jonny Rock and Horse Drawn Carriage Rides by Pleasant Valley Dream Rides, Line Dancing and more! A beer and wine tent is available as well as a tent featuring mouth-watering desserts. In addition to great dining and dancing, this year’s Silent Auction will include several items and gift cards donated by merchants and residents.Tickets are $30 in advance ($21 is tax deductible) or $35 at the door ($26 is tax deductible) and can be purchased on garrettmentors.org, at Cornish Cafe in Oakland or Traders Coffee House at the lake as well as at the barn the night of. This event is a fundraiser for Garrett Mentors, Inc, a local chidlren's mentoring organization.
