The Continuing Education and Workforce Development division at Garrett College has scheduled a hands-on, advanced course on QuickBooks. The course will be held on Thursdays, November 6 and 13, from 6 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at the Northern Outreach Center in Grantsville. Participants will learn how to create and customize reports and graphs, export QuickBooks to Microsoft Excel, and write letters in Microsoft Word using QuickBooks, as well as how to set up inventory, bill finished goods, and track and pay sales tax. Topics also include QuickBooks payroll features, creating estimates and doing progress invoicing, tracking time and paying non-employees for time worked, and customizing QuickBooks sales forms.
