DESCRIPTION:Community Trust Foundation Board of Trustees & the Garrett County Advisory Committee invite you to join us for this casual cocktail event with light fare and a cash bar\, starting at 6:00 P.M. We will toast all three of our past Garrett County Humanitarians and their many contributions to Garrett County   Olen Beitzel (2014\, deceased)\, William "Bill" Grant (2017)\, and William "Billy" Weissgerber (2020).\n\n\n\nWith the help of our generous donors\, CTF has invested $2.6 million in Garrett County. Grants have provided literacy programming\, youth mentoring\, robotics and STEM leadership\, lake water testing\, facilities for blind campers and skiers\, cultural events\, food security\, and preservation of local historical landmarks. Organizations supported include DCL Lions\, DCL Watershed Foundation\, GaCo Robotics Team\, Garrett College\, Garrett County Mountain Bike Team\, Garrett Lakes Art Festival\, Garrett Mentors\, Garrett Trails\, Garrett Transportation Museum\, Landon's Library\, Music at Penn Alps\, Ruth Enlow Library\, Wendell Teets Foundation\, Northern & Southern HS Band Boosters\, and Victorian Chautauqua by Mountain Lake Park.\n\n\n\nWe are committed to building a permanent resource of flexible responsive funding for future charitable challenges and opportunities in Garrett County which may include infrastructure\, youth programming\, parks & recreation\, or workforce development. Join us in building the Invest in Garrett County Fund from the current $38\,000 to a minimum of $150\,000 endowment.\n\n\n\nHelp us meet this goal by making a one-time or multi-year pledge as a Garrett Giver. A donation of any amount can be made through this event page.
