Join us for a delightful Sunday afternoon show.\n\nDoors and burgers etc. at 3\, music to start at 4.\n\nChairs provided\, feel free to bring yours for greater comfort.\n\nPlease leave your dog at home. We have plenty.\n\n \n\nThe Sugarfoot Stompers play New Orleans jazz. They are a regional crowd favorite at the Leaf Peepers Festival in Davis\, WV\, Tucker County ArtsSpring\, Our Town Theatre in Oakland\, Moonshadow Caf \, the Purple Fiddle\, and local brewpubs.\n\nFronted by trombone\, trumpet\, clarinet\, and backed by banjo\, upright bass\, washboard/percussion\, the boys bring joy to audiences with rockin' improv sessions on traditional blues and Dixieland tunes.\n\nRick Milne\, a longtime music educator\, plays trombone and sings. He also plays in regional community bands. Moe Turrentine\, a community band leader\, plays trumpet. He is the only member of the group to have played for Castro in Cuba. Gino Mauricci plays clarinet with Sugarfoot and sax with his rock 'n' roll band. He studied at Eastman School of Music and toured with Winton Marsalis.\n\nThe rhythm section is Stephan Moylan on banjo and vocals\, Matt Eary on upright bass and vocals\, and Fred Jacoby on percussion and vocals. All three have performed in multiple bands and vocal groups ranging from long-hair rock 'n' roll to neatly trimmed barbershop.\n\n \n\nEveryone lives in "Almost Heaven" Garrett County.
