DESCRIPTION:The Chamber is pleased to announce that the Garrett County Board of REALTORS (GCBR) will be hosting our March Business After Hours at Ace's Run on Thursday\, March 14th from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm.  \n\n\n\nThe Garrett County Board of REALTORS  (GCBR) is comprised of REALTORS  and Affiliate member service providers committed to providing professional service to buyers and sellers. Their mission is to enhance the members' ability to conduct business professionally and ethically as knowledgeable practitioners while advocating for property rights and the smooth transfer of property. Their everyday goal is to be Garrett County's trusted real estate source by promoting and protecting the rights and benefits of property ownership. Their members walk consumers through some of the most important and difficult transactions of their lives and ensure the real estate market is open\, transparent\, and fair. REALTORS  are bound by a Code of Ethics\, often even stricter than state law. GCBR and its members' commitment to the community extends well beyond individual real estate transactions. Member volunteers' partner with Community Action to teach the First-Time Homebuyers classes designed to educate prospective buyers on the homebuying process\, increasing their chances of obtaining and maintaining a home. Many members also volunteer with organizations such as TAY\, Garrett Mentors\, Knights of Columbus\, Lions\, Reflection House and the Dove Center to name a few\, and they frequently host fundraising events for local charities.\n\n\n\nEnjoy delicious food and drinks as you mingle with fellow Chamber members and Chamber staff at our monthly networking events.
