DESCRIPTION:The Chamber is pleased to announce that the Garrett County Airport will be hosting our June Business After Hours on Thursday\, June 12th from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm. During the program we will also be partnering with Garrett County Business Development to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for Deep Creek Aviation! \n\n\n\nGarrett County Airport is a General Aviation Airport surrounded by the scenic mountains of Western Maryland. Located between  Accident and McHenry\, the Garrett County Airport has grown into a modern\, public-use\, general aviation airport with a 5\,000 feet long runway from it's start as a small grass airstrip in the 1940's. The airport's primary use is for recreational and business activities\, providing resources such as flight school and sightseeing flights highlighting Deep Creek Lake. The airport also supports the military\, law enforcement\, and Department of Natural Resources and Civil Air Patrol.\n\n\n\nEnjoy delicious food and drinks catered by Ace's Run\, Brenda's Pizzeria\, Firewater\, and Trader's as you mingle with fellow Chamber members and Chamber staff at our monthly networking events.
