They are committed to providing the Pre-kindergarten through grade six children in the Garrett County Public Schools with caring\, committed\, adult mentors. Their volunteer mentors are adults of all ages who serve as positive role models to children with various needs and backgrounds. Mentors meet with the child they are matched with once a week during the child's lunchtime at the child's school. They also provide the children and their families with other resources as needed. We plan several out-of-school bonding experiences throughout the year for the mentors and children as well. Garrett Mentors is Celebrating their 15th Anniversary and are thanking the business community for all of its support by hosting this Business After Hours! \n\n\n\nTo celebrate the season of giving\, the Chamber is supporting the local Toys for Tots Campaign to help give children in our area a special gift for the holidays. Bring a new\, unwrapped toy for the local "Toys for Tots Campaign" to the December Business After Hours and receive a free ticket to a future Business After Hours event.\n\n \n\nEnjoy delicious food and drinks as you mingle with fellow Chamber members and Chamber staff at our monthly networking event.
